In a village, two cats were close friends who shared everything. One day, while playing, one cat found a piece of bread and began eating it without sharing. The other cat felt hurt and a quarrel ensued. A monkey offered to help by weighing the bread pieces to make them equal. However, the clever monkey took the opportunity to deprive them of the thing. So he began to weigh the bread after breaking it into two parts. Each time he put the unequal portions on the scale and bit a part of it to make them equal. Thus he eat up the entire bread and the cats returned home empty-handed. Both the cats had realized their mistake and felt that others could take advantage of their conflicts.
Moral: Quarrels create the advantage for a third person.
