The Poet and Text
Emily Jane Bronte (1818 -1848) was an English poet and novelist, best remembered (স্মরণীয়) for her only novel, Wuthering Heights, long considered (বিবেচনা করা হত) a classic (শ্রেষ্ঠ, ক্লাসিক) of English literature(সাহিত্য).
এমিলি জেন ব্রন্ট (১৮১৮ -১৮৪৮) ছিলেন একজন ইংরেজী কবি ও ঔপন্যাসিক। তিনি তাঁর একমাত্র উপন্যাস উদারিং হাইটসের জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশি স্মরণীয় ছিলেন, যেটিকে দীর্ঘকাল ধরে ইংরেজী সাহিত্যের একটি ক্লাসিক হিসাবে বিবেচনা করা হত।
In this poem the blue mist (কুয়াশা) that surrounds (ঘিরে আছে) the distant (দূরের) mountains reminds (মনে করিয়ে দেয়) the poet of the happy days of youth (যৌবন) and childhood (শৈশব) that she has left(ফেলে এসেছেন) behind(পিছনে). As she describes (বর্ননা দেওয়া) the landscape(প্রাকৃতিক ভূচিত্র) she shifts (চলে যাচ্ছেন) from the present moment (মূহুর্ত) to the past, and then to the present again.

Oh, I’m gone back (অতীত) to the days of youth(যৌবন),
