A Horrible Bus Journey
Last week we went to Murshidabad for an eduactional excursion by bus.After three days we were returning. It was a night journey. We were crossing a dense forest notorious for wild animals and dacoits. One tyre of the bus was punctured. We all got down and kept on shivering in fear. Our teachers guarded us. Time seemed unmoved. It took two hours to fix the punctured tyre. Finally, the bus sped on. Our tensions got over and we reached home safely. While the bus was in full speed, sudeenly we heard a bursting sound midway in the dark jungle. The journey still haunts me whenever I remember.
